Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of statements on his official X account over December 6 and 7, 2025, addressing border security and immigration issues.

On December 6, Crane shared a brief message: “This is the way.”

In a subsequent post on December 7, he wrote: “Because they care more about illegals than they do American citizens. They’ll unleash another border crisis the second they get a chance.”

Later that day, Crane posted another message stating: “Progress.”

Crane has served as the representative for Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980, Crane currently resides in Oro Valley.
