Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district, shared a series of brief posts on his social media account between January 22 and January 23, 2026, offering commentary on congressional affairs and public perception.

On January 22, Rep. Crane posted: “Congress is quite the place.”

The following day, he continued with pointed remarks about political attitudes toward citizens. On January 23, he wrote: “They think the American people are stupid.”

Shortly after that post, Rep. Crane added another comment: “What could possibly go wrong here?” The tweets do not elaborate further or specify the subjects being addressed.

Rep. Eli Crane has served in Congress since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023 as the representative for Arizona’s 2nd district. He was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
