Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of messages on September 11, 2025, reflecting on personal loss and national remembrance.

On September 11, Crane wrote about the impact of losing Charlie Kirk, stating: “Yesterday was a very rough day for a lot of the country, and me personally. Charlie Kirk had become a friend and mentor in ways. Charlie was truly one of the smartest men I’ve ever met. He was also one of the most courageous. He was not afraid to continually share his faith and https://t.co/KNceVSkAk8”.

Later that day, he commemorated the anniversary of the September 11 attacks with another post: “Today, we honor and remember the innocent lives lost during the September 11 attacks. Let us reflect on what it means to be an American and cherish the freedoms and liberties of our great nation. https://t.co/nI08e7EnQP”.

A subsequent message simply read: “Please share. https://t.co/Aw1tYUaCwF”, posted later on September 11.

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District in Congress since succeeding Tom O’Halleran in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980, Crane currently resides in Oro Valley.
