Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, recently posted a series of statements on his social media account addressing national security and healthcare policy.

On December 17, 2025, Crane wrote: “At a recent @HomelandGOP hearing, officials revealed that 18,000 known or suspected terrorists entered our country during the Biden administration. This should be the biggest story in America.”

Later that day, he commented on political opposition with the statement: “Democrats are allergic to the truth.” (December 17, 2025).

In another post from December 17, Crane addressed healthcare legislation: “Every single democrat just voted against lowering your healthcare costs. All because it keeps them from pumping billions to their donors in the healthcare industrial complex. They don’t want to help you. They want to control you.”

Crane’s remarks come as part of ongoing debates in Congress regarding border security and healthcare reform. The Homeland Security Committee frequently holds hearings examining threats at U.S. borders and related policies under different administrations.

Eli Crane has served as representative for Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980, Crane currently resides in Oro Valley.
