Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of tweets on December 16, 2025, addressing border security and government accountability.

In his first tweet at 19:12 UTC, Crane shared an emoji with a link: ” https://t.co/AWSXUwoXT0″.

Later that evening at 21:12 UTC, he commented on public perceptions about government actions by stating: “This is what everyone has assumed all along. Accountability would be great. https://t.co/lnd2gETOM3”.

At 21:30 UTC, Crane addressed concerns regarding border security during the Biden administration, writing: “During the Biden admin, between 1.5–2.5 million illegal aliens evaded law enforcement after crossing the border. An estimated 18,000 of them are known or suspected terrorists. Democrats did not care about the American people’s safety. https://t.co/olHP15sNFE”.

Crane’s remarks come amid ongoing national debates over immigration policy and border enforcement in the United States. As a congressman from Arizona—a state with significant border activity—Crane has positioned himself as an advocate for stricter immigration controls and increased governmental transparency.

Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley, Crane succeeded Tom O’Halleran in Congress following the 2022 elections and has since been vocal on issues affecting both his district and national policy.
