Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of messages on his social media account in early October 2025.

On October 5, Crane shared two brief posts: “#AZ02 https://t.co/9PNJrVGocg” at 14:25 UTC and ” https://t.co/D2vJR3HMke” at 16:47 UTC.

The following day, he commented on recent political developments regarding healthcare policy and government operations. On October 6, he wrote: “Did democrats really shut down the federal government so they could tell us all how big of a failure Obamacare has been?

Wild strategy.

If only we could pinpoint who passed Obamacare.”

Crane’s remarks come amid ongoing debates in Congress over federal funding and healthcare reform. He has represented Arizona’s 2nd District since succeeding Tom O’Halleran in 2023. Crane, born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley, has positioned himself as a vocal participant in legislative discussions about government spending and national healthcare policies.
