Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on social media on September 18, 2025, addressing law enforcement funding and expressing support for former President Donald Trump.
In a post published at 00:34 UTC, Crane wrote, “Thank you, President Trump.” Later that day at 00:45 UTC, he shared another brief message: “Good.”
At 17:55 UTC on the same day, Crane elaborated on his views regarding public safety and political opposition. He stated, “Democrats defunded police departments, resulting in alarming vacancies and a surge in crime. At the same time, they demand personal security details, which divert officers from pressing matters. Thankfully, President Trump is protecting citizens despite senseless opposition.”
Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley, Crane continues to be an active voice for his constituents.
