Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted several messages on his social media account on November 11, 2025, addressing topics ranging from political disputes to honoring military service.
In a post made at 13:28 UTC, Crane questioned narratives around government shutdowns, stating, “If it was a ‘Republican shutdown’ like they kept insisting…how do you explain this? Why do they lie so much?”.

Later that day, at 15:11 UTC, Crane published a message reflecting on the nation’s history and expressing gratitude toward military personnel: “As we approach the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding, remember those who have allowed it to endure for so long. To all who have fought for us and who are still fighting — thank you for your service. “
Crane has served in Congress since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023 and represents Arizona’s 2nd district. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley, Crane has used his platform to comment on both political issues and national commemorations.
