Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on social media regarding child safety concerns, a meeting with a Navajo Nation delegate, and recent developments he described as significant.
On February 10, 2026, Rep. Crane posted: “Thousands of children were put in harm’s way. The Biden admin had ONE person monitoring a hotline in place to help.” This post highlighted his criticism of the Biden administration’s handling of a hotline intended to assist children.
Later that day, Crane wrote about an encounter with a tribal leader: “Great to see Navajo Nation Delegate Germaine Simonson during her trip to DC. She was able to brief us on OSMRE cleanup activities at the Kayenta Mine Complex.” In this tweet, he referenced ongoing environmental cleanup efforts at the Kayenta Mine Complex and acknowledged collaboration with Native American leadership.
In another brief post on February 10, Crane commented: “Huge.”
Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District since 2023 after succeeding Tom O’Halleran. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley, Crane is serving his first term in Congress.
