Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on September 6, 2025, reflecting on his work with the Freedom Caucus and offering commentary on current political issues.

In a post commemorating an organizational milestone, Crane wrote: “This week, we celebrated the 10 year anniversary of the @FreedomCaucus. What we do is simple. All those promises you hear “conservatives” make on the campaign trail? We actually advocate for those policies in DC. We’re outnumbered, but that doesn’t stop us from fighting.” (September 6, 2025)

Later that day, Crane commented on partisan debates over crime policy with another message: “Delusional Democrats: ‘We want our crime back, and we want it now!'” (September 6, 2025)

In a subsequent post that evening, he shared brief praise for unspecified advice or sentiment: “Wise words.” (September 6, 2025)

The Freedom Caucus is a group within the House of Representatives known for its advocacy of conservative principles and policies. Its members often emphasize following through on campaign promises related to limited government and fiscal responsibility.

Crane has served as Arizona’s representative since 2023 after succeeding Tom O’Halleran. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
