Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of statements on February 12, 2026, addressing issues ranging from taxpayer interests to public service recognition.
In an early post that day, Crane commented on a recent development by stating, “A win for US taxpayers.” (February 12, 2026).
Later in the afternoon, he expressed appreciation for his team with the message: “Very grateful to have the best district team in America!” (February 12, 2026).
In another post published minutes later, Crane paid tribute to two individuals who served their communities. He wrote: “Robert Skankey and Hunter Bennett dedicated their lives to public service.
We are forever grateful for their selflessness, courage, and commitment to keeping our communities safe.
May the Lord bless their families, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time.” (February 12, 2026).
Crane succeeded Tom O’Halleran as representative of Arizona’s 2nd district following the 2022 election cycle. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley at age 43, Crane has emphasized community values and support for public servants throughout his tenure.
