Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district, posted several updates on his social media account this week, addressing both staff changes in his office and national political issues.

On December 18, Crane acknowledged the conclusion of an internship by a member of his team, stating: “This week marks the end of Emma Smith’s internship with my office. Throughout the fall, she demonstrated exceptional initiative, integrity, and high-caliber work. We’re thrilled to welcome her back next week as our new Legislative Correspondent!”

Later that same day, he criticized policies associated with the Democratic Party, posting: “Democrat policies are such a joke that they’ve created ‘fraud tourists.'” This statement was made on December 18.

On December 19, Crane commented on current events with another post: “This should absolutely be the #1 story in America right now.”

Eli Crane has served in Congress since 2023 after replacing Tom O’Halleran as representative for Arizona’s 2nd district. Born in Tucson in 1980, Crane currently resides in Oro Valley.
