Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on recent developments and legislative efforts in a series of posts on March 17 and 18, 2026.
On March 17, Crane highlighted progress in Superior, Arizona, writing, “What a week for Superior, AZ! Thanks to Mayor Mila Besich for updating me on all of the good work they are doing. The announcement by @forestservice for the Resolution Copper Project is a HUGE win for rural Arizona.”
Later that evening, he discussed engagement with tribal leadership: “Great reconnecting with the leadership of the Hualapai Tribe this evening. We discussed ongoing efforts to fund their water rights settlement that was approved by Congress. #AZ02” This refers to ongoing federal efforts to support water rights settlements with Native American tribes.
On March 18, Crane reported legislative progress regarding environmental restoration: “Proud to be leading this effort in the House. Earlier this week, the North Rim Restoration Act of 2025 passed unanimously. Not a single “no” vote. Let’s get it signed into law!”
Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd district since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023 and resides in Oro Valley. Born in Tucson in 1980, Crane is currently serving his constituents as their congressional representative.
