Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district, shared several posts on his official X (formerly Twitter) account addressing political and legislative issues between January 18 and January 19, 2026.

On January 18, Crane posted a brief comment: “Insane.” He followed up later that day with another post stating, “More ‘Maryland men.’ This is who democrats fight for.”

On January 19, Crane addressed legislative efforts in his district: “I’m proud to be spearheading the North Rim Restoration Act of 2025. Businesses throughout Northern Arizona are depending on a timely rebuild. This bill helps get that done by providing emergency contracting authorities. #AZ02”

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd congressional district since 2023 after succeeding Tom O’Halleran. Born in Tucson in 1980, Crane currently resides in Oro Valley and is now age 43.
