Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared a series of posts on social media addressing legislative progress, constituent engagement, and his views on healthcare policy.
On March 23, 2026, Crane highlighted the passage of legislation in the House: “Last week, the House passed the North Rim Restoration Act of 2025 in a unanimous vote. Let’s get this done for all of the small businesses and gateway communities that depend on it. In the meantime, make plans to go to @GrandCanyonNPS. It’s open and amazing. #AZ02 https://t.co/3qYBTXeGYW”.
Later that day, he announced an upcoming event to connect with constituents: “On Wednesday, I will be holding a live telephone town hall from Washington, D.C., at 5:00 p.m. MST. I look forward to hearing from you directly and answering your questions. For more information, please see below: https://t.co/71vmX3X25l” (March 23, 2026).
Crane also marked an anniversary related to national healthcare policy by posting: “16 years ago today, the Affordable Care Act became law. Healthcare has become less affordable ever since. All to enrich the wealthy elites in the insurance industry. Obama ruined it, and republicans have been too weak to do anything about it.” (March 23, 2026).
Eli Crane has served as U.S. Representative for Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023 and resides in Oro Valley after being born in Tucson in 1980.
