Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district, recently used his social media platform to highlight legislative efforts and local achievements.

On December 18, 2025, Crane posted about the growing dangers posed by unmanned aircraft systems: “Drones pose a growing threat to critical infrastructure, civilian populations, and national security. My bill would amend the Homeland Security Act of 2002 to require annual terrorism threat assessments on the malicious use of unmanned aircraft systems:” (December 18, 2025).

Shortly after, he expressed gratitude to colleagues for their backing: “Thank you to Chairman @RepGarbarino, @RepMcCaul, @RepDaleStrong, and @RepOgles for your support.” (December 18, 2025).

Later that day, Crane celebrated a development for his constituency with another message: “Solid win for rural Arizona.” (December 18, 2025).

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District in Congress since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
