Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, addressed topics ranging from political rhetoric to the impact of artificial intelligence in a series of posts on September 17, 2025.

In his first post at 20:05 UTC, Crane questioned the effect of recent comments related to President Trump’s electoral performance, stating, “How exactly does he think this kind of ridiculous rhetoric will help lower the temperature with left-wing activists? President Trump just won the popular vote.”

Later that evening at 20:46 UTC, Crane expressed agreement with another statement by writing, “This is spot on.”

Addressing technological change at 20:59 UTC, Crane discussed concerns about artificial intelligence and its effects on employment. He wrote, “While AI presents new opportunities, we must always prioritize the interests of the American people. As we’ve seen in industries such as mining, job transitions are never as simple as advertised. Large-scale disruptions have real consequences. We can’t afford to ignore them.”

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in Congress in 2023 and is currently serving in that role. Born in Tucson in 1980 and now residing in Oro Valley, Crane has focused his congressional communications on issues affecting both his constituents and national policy.
