Rep. Eli Crane, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district, highlighted recent legislative efforts and recognized the contributions of individuals supporting his office in a series of posts on December 12, 2025.

In one post, Crane expressed appreciation for support behind new legislation: “Thank you to John Dillon, the @CoconinoCounty Board of Supervisors, and my colleagues for supporting the North Rim Restoration Act of 2025. Yesterday’s hearing marked a significant step forward in the legislative process. Let’s keep the momentum going:” (December 12, 2025).

Crane also acknowledged an intern completing his term in Washington: “Next week, Trex Jones, a native Arizonan, will conclude his internship in my Washington, DC, office. We are all grateful for his outstanding work ethic, professionalism, and consistency. I have no doubt that he will continue to excel in whatever he chooses to pursue.” (December 12, 2025).

Additionally, Crane described a briefing held by John Dillon regarding wildfire impacts: “Yesterday, John Dillon briefed lawmakers on the Dragon Bravo Fire’s impact on park staff, local businesses, and gateway communities. He also spoke to the importance of the North Rim Restoration Act of 2025. It was an honor to host him, and we are grateful for his testimony.” (December 12, 2025).

Eli Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in Congress in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley at age 43, Crane has continued to focus on issues affecting northern Arizona communities.
