Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, recently shared several posts on his social media account addressing healthcare and political governance.

On August 27, 2025, Crane posted about Medicaid policy, stating, “Protecting Medicaid for those it was intended for. America first.” In another post later that day, he highlighted a visit to a local medical facility: “Had a chance to visit and learn more about the good work of the Payson Christian Clinic yesterday. They were founded in 2007 and operate by having licensed physicians, physician residents, and medical students donate their time to take care of patients.” He also commented on urban governance with a critical observation: “And big cities are all governed by…democrats. Maybe their policies just don’t work?”

Crane was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley. He succeeded Tom O’Halleran as the representative for Arizona’s 2nd district in 2023.
