Rep. Eli Crane, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, shared updates on legislative and constituent activities in a series of posts on December 11, 2025.

In a post made at 18:36 UTC, Crane commented on immigration policy under the previous administration, stating: “Under the previous administration, 15–20 million illegal aliens were let into America. Around 2.7 million came from Muslim countries or regions with minimal to no vetting. It is dangerous to let people into our country who refuse to assimilate or honor our Constitution.”

Later that day at 20:22 UTC, Crane announced new bipartisan legislation regarding drone interference with wildfire response efforts: “Today, I co-introduced a bipartisan bill to address the growing issue of drones interfering with aerial fire suppression efforts. Given that Arizona is prone to devastating wildfires, it’s imperative that we minimize obstruction and delays:”

At 21:07 UTC, Crane highlighted his work hosting a constituent in Washington: “Today, I had the honor of hosting John Dillon in Washington to testify before @NatResources. John is a constituent of #AZ02, small business owner, and lifelong advocate for the Grand Canyon. We appreciate his unique perspective on the North Rim Restoration Act of 2025.”

Crane was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley. He succeeded Tom O’Halleran as representative for Arizona’s 2nd District following the 2022 election.
