Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of tweets on February 10, 2026, addressing topics ranging from rural health care funding to criticism of sanctuary city policies.
In his first tweet at 21:45 UTC, Rep. Crane described a meeting with Coconino Community College officials about future plans and financial support for rural health services: “Had a chance to sit down with the team from Coconino Community College this afternoon to talk about their expansion plans. We also discussed their application for rural health care funding made available through the Working Families Tax Cuts. #AZ02 https://t.co/g4Jg9Nl1fv”
Later that evening at 22:29 UTC, Rep. Crane shared his stance on local immigration policy: “Sanctuary policies make things more dangerous for everyone. https://t.co/1ZL3k0FTUp”
At 23:38 UTC, he posted further criticism regarding border policy and partisan approaches in Congress: “Democrats unleashed a border crisis, deployed sanctuary city policies, and promoted dehumanizing rhetoric that led to violent protests. All for one reason. They are obsessed with power. That’s why they oppose the SAVE America Act, despite overwhelming public support. WATCH: https://t.co/uNFMOhpqmS”
Eli Crane was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley at age 43. He succeeded Tom O’Halleran as representative for Arizona’s 2nd district in January 2023.
