Later that day, on October 15, he followed up with another emoji tweet: ” https://t.co/Rvtuk6Zl9s”.
The most detailed message came in the early hours of October 15, when Crane wrote: “Senator Schumer feels better about this shutdown every day, and Senator Gallego is already plotting the next one. Shameless. https://t.co/cjcI8NHyRs”.
Crane’s reference to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Senator Ruben Gallego comes amid an ongoing government shutdown debate in Congress.
Eli Crane was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley. He began serving as the representative for Arizona’s 2nd congressional district after replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023.
