Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district, posted several statements on his official Twitter account addressing current legislative and national security issues.
On March 12, 2026, Crane criticized Senate Democrats regarding the ongoing closure of the Department of Homeland Security. He wrote, “Senate democrats are still abusing the filibuster to keep the Department of Homeland Security shut down. 27 days. Shameful.”
Later that day, Crane addressed concerns about national security and terrorism. He stated, “If you provide support to ISIS or any other terrorist group, you should be denaturalized and deported. I think we can all get behind that, right?”
On March 13, 2026, he expressed support for an unspecified initiative by posting ” Let’s get it done.”
Crane has served in Congress since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023 as representative for Arizona’s 2nd district. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley at age 43, he has focused his recent communications on government operations and counterterrorism measures.
