Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district, made several statements on his social media account on March 12, 2026, addressing national security and government spending.

In one post, Crane wrote: “We need to be doing more to defend our nation from Sharia Law and Radical Islam.” (March 12, 2026).

Later the same day, he commented on government expenditures and support for military personnel: “So democrats are outraged that our troops get good food every once in a while. But they’re totally cool with stealing BILLIONS from the American people and funneling it all to woke NGOs and illegal aliens. Noted.” (March 12, 2026).

Crane also criticized Senate Democrats regarding homeland security operations: “Who could possibly think it’s a good idea to have the Department of Homeland Security operating at less than 100% right now? Senate Democrats.” (March 12, 2026).

Eli Crane has served in Congress since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. He was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
