Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, criticized Democratic lawmakers in a series of posts on December 18, 2025, addressing healthcare and immigration issues.
In one post, Crane stated, “Democrats caused a healthcare crisis in America by imposing Obamacare on everyone. The least they could do is work with us to fix their mess.” (December 18, 2025).
Later that day, he commented on recent House activity regarding child immigration protections: “Yesterday, over 200 House Democrats voted against the Kayla Hamilton Act, which strengthens protections for unaccompanied alien children. This follows their premeditated border invasion, where more than 291,000 children were released to unvetted sponsors. Total betrayal.” (December 18, 2025).
In another post the same evening, Crane endorsed remarks made by television personality Jeanine Pirro: “She’s spot on. Thank you, @USAttyPirro.” (December 18, 2025).
Crane was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley. He succeeded Tom O’Halleran as the representative for Arizona’s 2nd district after the 2022 election cycle.
