Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of tweets on March 10, 2026, addressing issues related to the Department of Homeland Security and alleged fraud in the United States.

In a tweet published at 17:41 UTC, Crane wrote, “All while democrats refuse to reopen the Department of Homeland Security. Beyond foolish.”

Later that day, at 19:39 UTC, he added another post stating simply, “More fraud.”

At 21:11 UTC on the same day, Crane referenced an individual named Nick Shirley and media coverage of fraud issues: “.@nickshirleyy helped shame the mainstream media into paying attention to all of the fraud in this country. That’s a win.”

Crane’s remarks come amid ongoing debates over federal agency operations and public concerns about fraud. He succeeded Tom O’Halleran as representative for Arizona’s 2nd district in 2023 and resides in Oro Valley after being born in Tucson in 1980.
