Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, has made several posts on his official X account expressing his views on national political developments and the Department of Homeland Security.
On March 6, 2026, Crane wrote, “Trump Derangement Syndrome is in full swing.” Later that same day, he posted another message containing only an emoji and a link: “”
The following day, March 7, 2026, Crane commented on actions by Democratic lawmakers regarding the Department of Homeland Security. He stated: “All while Democrats continue their politically motivated shutdown of the Department of Homeland Security. Insane.”
Crane assumed office in Congress after defeating Tom O’Halleran in 2023. He was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
