Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted several statements on his X (formerly Twitter) account on October 7, 2025, criticizing Democratic lawmakers and commenting on federal policy and law enforcement.

In a post made at 14:05 UTC, Crane wrote, “Shocker. The democrats lied again.”

Later that day, at 15:00 UTC, he addressed the Inflation Reduction Act, stating, “Remember the inflation reduction act? It didn’t reduce inflation. Democrats lied. All in an effort to funnel money to their buddies in the wind and solar industries.”

In another post at 18:54 UTC, Crane expressed support for a law enforcement official by saying, “Real accountability. Thank you, @FBIDirectorKash.”

Crane has served as Arizona’s 2nd district representative since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980, Crane is currently 43 years old and resides in Oro Valley.
