Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, recently posted a series of statements on social media criticizing Democratic lawmakers and Arizona Senators regarding their positions on insurance-related legislation.
On November 9, 2025, Crane wrote, “Democrats view hardworking Americans as nothing but ‘leverage’ for their efforts to pad the pockets of insurance executives.”
In a subsequent post on November 10, 2025, he addressed Arizona’s senators by name: “Arizona Senators Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego are NOT part of the solution here. Both will vote NO. They continue to side with Chuck Schumer and insurance executives at your expense. Party over country for these two.”
Later that same day, Crane posted another message urging action: “Let’s get it done.”
Crane’s remarks highlight his ongoing criticism of Democratic leadership and focus specifically on Senators Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego’s anticipated votes against unspecified legislation related to insurance policy or regulation.
Crane has served in Congress since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023 and represents Arizona’s 2nd District. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
