Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district, shared a series of posts on his social media account in early January 2026 criticizing Democratic energy policies and their impact on electricity costs.

On January 2, 2026, Crane posted: “Radical democrats only push for wind and solar because it benefits their donors and appeases their base. The reality is everyone’s electricity bills have gone up as a result.”
