Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on social media expressing gratitude for rural holiday initiatives and commenting on U.S. foreign policy actions.
On December 5, 2025, Crane wrote: “Christmas came early this year! Thank you @SecretaryBurgum for bringing more holiday savings and cheer to rural Arizonans.”
Later that day, he addressed criticism over military operations at sea by stating: “So taking down narco-terrorists in international waters is a problem? Democrats weren’t this outraged over @BarackObama’s reckless drone strikes in multiple continents, which resulted in countless civilian casualties. Weird how that works.”
On December 6, 2025, Crane added another message of appreciation: “Arizonans are grateful. “
Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd congressional district since 2023 after succeeding Tom O’Halleran. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
