Rep. Eli Crane, U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, shared several posts on his official social media account discussing recent national issues and offering brief commentary.
On April 3, 2026, Crane wrote: “Last night, I had a chance to join @mattgaetz on @OANN. We discussed the latest with Iran, the DHS shutdown, and the debate over birthright citizenship.” On the same day, he added: “If you’re going to call it “temporary,” it should probably be temporary. Common sense.” The following day, April 4, 2026, Crane posted a short statement: “Without a doubt.”
Eli Crane assumed office after defeating Tom O’Halleran in 2023 and has since represented Arizona’s 2nd District in Congress. Born in Tucson in 1980, Crane is currently 43 years old and resides in Oro Valley.
