Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on March 11, 2026, addressing immigration enforcement and congressional procedure.
In a post at 2:20 a.m., Crane expressed appreciation for federal immigration authorities, stating “Arizonans are grateful, @ICEgov.” Later that morning at 12:59 p.m., he commented on recent developments by writing “Important progress.”
Shortly after, at 1:10 p.m., Crane addressed legislative effectiveness in Congress. He wrote “Worth reminding everyone that Congress CHOOSES to be ineffective. All they need to do is get rid of the filibuster in the Senate. That simple rule change would pave the way for historic policy wins.”
Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980, Crane resides in Oro Valley.
