Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted several statements on November 5, 2025, addressing current political developments and legislative efforts.

In a post published at 13:50 UTC, Crane commented on the ongoing government shutdown debate, stating that “Mark Kelly and Ruben Gallego represent 40% of the needed votes to reopen the government. But they are loyal to a New York liberal, not everyday Arizonans. This is their shutdown.”

Later in the day at 14:32 UTC, he addressed discussions concerning land rights and environmental protections in Arizona: “I’m glad these discussions are taking place. I will continue working with the Navajo Nation in pursuing an outcome that both protects Chaco Canyon and respects their energy rights.”

At 15:07 UTC, Crane voiced support for legislative action regarding judicial conduct: “Agree. We have a chance to fix that with @RepBrandonGill’s Articles of Impeachment against radical activist Judge James Boasberg. Urge your representative to sign.”

Crane was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley. He succeeded Tom O’Halleran as the representative for Arizona’s 2nd district after the 2022 election cycle.
