Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on September 5 and 6, 2025, addressing issues related to crime in Washington D.C. and border security.

On September 5, Crane wrote: “Radical democrats are fighting tooth and nail to bring crime BACK to DC. They resent the fact that President Trump cleaned it all up in record time. They are exposed.”

The following day, he commented on border security with a brief statement: “The border is secure. https://t.co/GgnDDn3XKE” On the same day, he posted another tweet simply stating: “Shocker. https://t.co/lk7lB2TbaN”

Crane has served as the U.S. Representative for Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980, Crane currently resides in Oro Valley.
