Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of tweets on January 22, 2026, addressing ongoing political issues and commending individuals for their efforts.

Later that day at 13:53 UTC, he referenced congressional action related to an investigation involving Jeffrey Epstein: “Thanks for clarifying.

That’s why we voted to hold you in contempt of Congress yesterday for defying congressional subpoenas on the Epstein probe.”

At 14:45 UTC the same day, Crane commented on legislative procedure concerning the SAVE Act: “Hopefully they get relocated to the Senate Floor, so they can finally hold a vote on the SAVE Act.”

Eli Crane succeeded Tom O’Halleran as representative of Arizona’s 2nd district in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley, Crane has become known for his engagement with both local and national political matters.
