Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, shared several statements on his social media account on January 2, 2026.

In a post at 17:41 UTC, Crane wrote ” #AZ02 https://t.co/l244CbQDHn”. Later that day, at 23:07 UTC, he posted “This is a big deal. https://t.co/8FjLLBOyNs”. At 23:36 UTC, Crane added another message: “Sure wish my Republican colleagues would have helped my efforts to defund USAID in the 118th Congress. https://t.co/SVzWJECBFN”.

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd congressional district since defeating Tom O’Halleran in the 2022 election and assuming office in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980, Crane currently resides in Oro Valley.
