Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district, posted several statements on his social media account regarding recent political developments and the ongoing government shutdown.

On March 23, 2026, Crane wrote: “Another big win for Arizona. Thank you, @epaleezeldin.”

The following day, March 24, he addressed the federal government shutdown and Congressional pay: “We should be suspending pay for Members of Congress until the shutdown is over, but Democrats blocked that too.”

Later on March 24, Crane commented on crisis management in Congress: “Democrats create a crisis then complain that the crisis is being mitigated. Classic. Not shocked that everyday Americans are just happy to see things functioning properly.”

Crane has served as a member of Congress since 2023 after replacing Tom O’Halleran as representative for Arizona’s 2nd district. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
