Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, recently used his social media platform to comment on the state of Congress and propose legislative actions.

On December 14, 2025, Crane posted a brief message: “Sounds like Congress.”

In a subsequent post on December 15, 2025, he wrote: “President Trump returning to the White House has provided a historic opportunity and Congress is behaving like it’s business as usual. We HAVE to do better. It’s what We the People voted for.”

Later that day, Crane outlined specific measures he believes Congress should address before the holiday recess: “Some ideas for what Congress should do before Christmas:

Pass a stock trading ban
Get rid of the filibuster
Impeach Judge Boasberg”

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District since 2023 after succeeding Tom O’Halleran. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
