Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on October 3, 2025, addressing veterans’ services and congressional compensation during government shutdowns.

In a post from Flagstaff, Crane highlighted his staff’s participation at a local event for veterans: “My staff is in Flagstaff today for the Veteran Stand Down at Twin Arrows Resort & Casino. These events are a great way for veterans to connect and learn more about critical resources. Feel free to stop by and meet with my Director of Military and Veteran Services. “ (October 3, 2025).

Later that day, Crane commented on congressional pay during federal funding lapses: “Members of Congress shouldn’t receive a salary during a government shutdown, nor should we get back pay. Thank you to @RepRalphNorman for your leadership.” (October 3, 2025).

He also responded briefly to another post with “Yup” (October 3, 2025).

Crane has served as the representative for Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
