Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district, posted a series of statements on his social media account on April 6, 2026, addressing topics ranging from religious law to veteran services.
In a post made at 17:14 UTC, Crane stated, “Thank you. Sharia law is NOT welcome in America.”
Later that day at 18:52 UTC, he referenced recent international events and American priorities in another post: “This morning, I joined @bennyjohnson to discuss the heroic rescue mission in Iran over the weekend. The United States of America puts human life over equipment every day of the week, and I’m so glad that we do. “
At 20:11 UTC, Crane addressed local constituents regarding support for veterans: “Tomorrow, my Director of Military and Veteran Services will be in Overgaard and Show Low for office hours. If you’re a veteran in the area and need assistance with federal casework, please feel free to schedule an appointment. #AZ02”
Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd district since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
