Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, shared updates on social media regarding national security concerns and legislative actions related to his constituency.
On March 17, 2026, Crane posted about the perceived threat posed by some within Islam, stating: “Americans need to understand the motivations and agendas of those within Islam who wish to conquer everyone and everything in their way. The good thing is, you don’t need to take my word for it. Just listen to them directly: https://t.co/0M8vXxBaBc”.
Later that day, he referenced legislative efforts following the Dragon Bravo Fire, writing: “Five months ago, I introduced the North Rim Restoration Act of 2025 after listening to folks who were directly impacted by the Dragon Bravo Fire. Yesterday’s unanimous vote sends a clear message that America refuses to abandon our iconic landmarks and storied communities. #AZ02 https://t.co/sqIb4CkdA9” (March 17, 2026).
Crane also highlighted local infrastructure developments in his district with a post about Maricopa city leadership and transportation improvements: “Had a chance to catch up with some of the leadership from the City of Maricopa this morning. Great progress is being made on the SR 347 Widening Project, which is scheduled to begin this summer. https://t.co/8zH8u0cBR2” (March 17, 2026).
Crane has served as representative for Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980, Crane currently resides in Oro Valley.
