Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of statements on his official social media account on September 3, 2025, addressing national safety and forest management issues.

In a post made at 00:36 UTC, Crane credited former President Trump for public safety measures, stating, “They can do so safely, thanks to President Trump.”

Later that day at 13:58 UTC, Crane voiced support for a proposed ban with the message: “Easy yes. Let’s ban it.”

At 14:58 UTC the same day, Crane discussed forest management challenges in rural Arizona. He wrote: “This is such a critical point. In rural Arizona, this has become a bipartisan issue to those impacted on the ground. We must push harder to enable proper forest management. The House has passed the Fix our Forests Act twice now.”

Crane was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley. He succeeded Tom O’Halleran as representative of Arizona’s 2nd district after the 2022 election cycle.
