Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, has recently posted a series of statements on his social media platform addressing concerns from rural Arizonans, criticism of longstanding political leadership, and constituent services.
On April 7, 2026, Crane commented on energy infrastructure in rural Arizona: “The overwhelming majority of rural Arizonans don’t want them. They are ugly, unreliable, and have been a leading cause of skyrocketing utility bills.”
Later that day, he addressed broader political issues with a post stating: “A reminder that decades worth of uniparty career politicians have sat back and let it happen. Not just in CA but all over the country. Something has to change.”
In another post from the same day, Crane highlighted his office’s efforts to assist constituents: “If you’re having trouble resolving an issue with a federal agency, my team is here to help. We work directly with these agencies on your behalf to help you receive the benefits, services, or info you’re entitled to. Here’s an overview of the progress we’ve made this Congress:”
Crane began serving as the representative for Arizona’s 2nd district after succeeding Tom O’Halleran in 2023. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
