Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of statements on August 21, 2025, addressing issues related to rural Arizona and congressional spending practices.
In his first post at 12:39 p.m., Crane wrote, “This is great news for rural Arizona. #AZ02 https://t.co/ALB1KEUAwE”.
Shortly after, at 12:46 p.m., he commented on congressional fiscal policy by stating, “Too many democrats think taxpayer resources are a piggy bank to use for their radical obsessions.
Too many republicans refuse to do anything about it.
Thats congress, in a nutshell.”
Later that day at 2:46 p.m., Crane posted another message referencing political disagreements: “For reasons I’ll never understand, this infuriates radical democrats. https://t.co/oWqVtTHDrf”.
Crane has served as the representative for Arizona’s 2nd District since 2023 after succeeding Tom O’Halleran. He was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
