Rep. Eli Crane, a U.S. Congressman representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, posted a series of messages on his official X account addressing recent political developments and local disaster relief efforts.
On December 8, 2025, Crane responded to an unspecified event or news by stating simply, “Good.”
The following day, December 9, he commented on the state of politics in Washington with the post: “Welcome to the swamp. We call it the uniparty.”
Later that same day, Crane highlighted ongoing disaster recovery initiatives for residents affected by severe flooding in Gila County. He reminded constituents about an important deadline and shared details regarding federal assistance: “REMINDER – Today is the deadline to submit physical damage applications for those impacted by the severe flooding in Gila County. To date, @SBAgov has approved $4,111,600 in disaster loans, and representatives are still on hand for in-person meetings. See details below:”
Crane was elected to Congress after defeating Tom O’Halleran in 2022 and began serving Arizona’s 2nd district in January 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley at age 43, Crane has focused part of his congressional work on both national political issues and local constituent services.
