Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, has recently shared updates and opinions on healthcare access and legislative challenges via his official social media account.
On March 13, 2026, Crane highlighted a recent visit by his staff to a local health facility: “My staff had a productive meeting at the North Apache Health Clinic in Sanders with its new Executive Director Raina Roan. Her team is doing vital work to strengthen healthcare access for families, seniors, and veterans. We truly appreciate their dedication and service. #AZ02 https://t.co/WQ5RXRsY8N”.
Later that same day, Crane addressed legislative gridlock in the Senate through another post: “Just a handful of things that could be done by now if there wasn’t a filibuster in the Senate:
Save America Act = Law
DHS = Open
Fix our Forests Act = Law
No Rogue Judges Act = Law
Funding Bills = Conservative
Taliban = DEFUNDED
What would you add?”.
On March 14, 2026, he criticized Senate Democrats regarding the status of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), writing: “Senate democrats are hurting Arizonans, and keeping DHS from operating at 100% during a heightened threat environment. Even Obama’s DHS secretary has called on them to end this politically motivated shutdown. https://t.co/qH28NQscss”.
Crane was born in Tucson in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley. He succeeded Tom O’Halleran as representative for Arizona’s 2nd district following the 2022 election cycle.
