Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district since 2023, shared updates on federal government activities and local disaster response efforts in a series of social media posts on October 13 and 14, 2025.

On October 13, Crane commented on recent developments in Washington, stating, “Schumer and his fellow senate democrats shut down the federal government. Meanwhile, President Trump just keeps getting stuff done. Unreal.”

Later that same day, Crane reported on severe weather conditions affecting communities in his district: “Had a chance to visit Globe and Miami again this afternoon. They continue to receive heavy rainfall and devastating flooding. We are coordinating with federal, state, and local officials. On Friday, SBA made resources available. See more here:” The tweet included links for additional information.

On October 14, Crane posted a brief personal message: “Happy birthday, Charlie. “

Crane succeeded Tom O’Halleran as the representative for Arizona’s 2nd district in 2023. He was born in Tucson, Arizona in 1980 and currently resides in Oro Valley.
