Rep. Eli Crane, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Arizona’s 2nd district, recently posted a series of statements on his social media account addressing topics ranging from forest management to immigration policy.
On April 10, 2026, Crane expressed support for efforts to bolster the U.S. Forest Service, stating: “Appreciate these efforts aimed at STRENGTHENING the @forestservice.”
Shortly after, he commented on immigration policy and congressional actions in Washington D.C., writing: “The American people voted to deport criminal aliens, not grant mass amnesty. DC Republicans need to read the room.” This post was also made on April 10, 2026.
Later that day, Crane shared his opposition to an unspecified proposal or measure by stating: “Mark me down as a hard NO.”
Crane has served in Congress since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023 and represents Arizona’s 2nd District. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley, Crane is among several lawmakers using social media platforms to communicate directly with constituents about legislative priorities and ongoing debates.
