Rep. Eli Crane, who represents Arizona’s 2nd district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on recent legislative and community activities through his social media posts on April 16, 2026.

In one post, Crane detailed a meeting between his staff and several local and federal entities regarding infrastructure damage in Globe, Arizona. He wrote: “Yesterday, my staff met with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the Arizona Silver Jackets team, and City of Globe staff. We appreciate the update on flood damage to the sewer system near Pinal Creek, as well as their hard work in support of recovery efforts.” (April 16, 2026)

Addressing legislative matters later that day, Crane commented on congressional procedures related to stock trading by lawmakers. He stated: “We can’t ban stock trading by Members of Congress. But nonsense like this passes. Just another day in Congress…” (April 16, 2026)

He also referenced water-related projects in his district with a brief note: “Important water investments in #AZ02.” (April 16, 2026)

Crane has represented Arizona’s 2nd District since replacing Tom O’Halleran in 2023. Born in Tucson in 1980 and currently residing in Oro Valley, Crane continues to highlight issues pertinent to his constituents through public statements and online communications.
